A Modern Swing at Branding
The Relationship
Nebraska Sim Golf came to me through a casual connection. We worked in the same building, and my reputation for branding made me a natural choice when it came time for him to establish his business identity. While this wasn’t the largest branding project I’ve taken on, I saw an opportunity to create something clean, professional, and impactful—plus, as a former college golfer at Wayne State, I couldn’t pass up a chance to contribute to the game in a creative way.
The Challenge or Opportunity
Nebraska Sim Golf needed a modern, recognizable logo that reflected the advanced technology behind its simulated golf experience. The goal was to create a strong, simple aesthetic that would stand out in a competitive space while being versatile enough for use across signage, apparel, and digital applications.
The Work
- The “S” for “Sim” is subtly embedded within the negative space of the “G” for Golf, visually representing the idea of simulated golf in a sleek and unexpected way.
- The shape and structure provide a balanced, tech-forward feel that aligns with the modern nature of the business.
- The clean, structured design ensures adaptability, working across various applications while maintaining a strong brand presence.
The Results
The final logo gave Nebraska Sim Golf a sharp, professional identity that aligns with the premium experience they provide. The clean execution makes it effective for marketing, merchandise, and digital branding, ensuring it remains recognizable and impactful as the business grows.

This project was a reminder that strong branding doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be smart. The Nebraska Sim Golf logo is proof that thoughtful design can create a professional and lasting impression.
